Counselling offers a confidential and consistent space to explore what feels difficult, confusing, or unresolved in your life.
You might come with anxiety that won’t settle, recurring relationship patterns, self-doubt, low mood, cultural or family pressures, or simply a sense that you’ve lost connection with yourself. You don’t need to have everything clearly defined before starting. We begin wherever you are.
I work integratively, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. This may include exploring early experiences and attachment patterns, noticing unhelpful thinking cycles, working with emotional regulation, and developing greater self-awareness and self-compassion.
My approach is steady, reflective and collaborative. I won’t analyse or impose interpretations. Instead, we gently untangle what’s happening beneath the surface so you can begin to understand yourself with more clarity and choice.
While I have a background in spiritual practice, counselling sessions remain psychologically grounded and ethically held. If spirituality or meaning-making is important to you, we can explore that. If it isn’t, that is equally welcome. The focus is always on what supports your wellbeing.
Over time, clients often notice:
♦ Reduced anxiety and overthinking
♦ Greater emotional regulation
♦ Clearer boundaries
♦ Less self-criticism
♦ A stronger sense of inner stability
Sessions are £50 per session and last 50 minutes and offered weekly or fortnightly, either online or in person in Birmingham.
What is Serenity Surrender?
Serenity Surrender is a gentle yet powerful approach to healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
At its heart is a simple understanding: life is constantly revealing the energies, beliefs, emotions, and patterns we hold within ourselves.
Many of us find ourselves caught in recurring patterns. Perhaps we repeatedly feel misunderstood, abandoned, rejected, overlooked, or stuck in the same types of relationships and situations. We often spend years trying to change these experiences from the outside, only to find that the same themes continue to appear in different forms.
Serenity Surrender offers a different perspective.
Rather than fighting our experiences or seeing them as problems to be fixed, we learn to become curious about them. We begin to recognise that our outer experiences often reflect inner conflicts, limiting beliefs, unresolved emotions, and wounds that are asking for our attention.
Through conscious awareness, inner healing, and surrender, we gradually stop resisting what is happening and start understanding what it is here to teach us.
This does not mean becoming passive or accepting suffering. Instead, surrender is the willingness to meet ourselves honestly and compassionately. It is the recognition that there may be a deeper wisdom within every experience, even the painful ones.
As we deepen our self-awareness, we naturally begin to heal. The patterns that once felt fixed start to loosen. Our reactions soften. We gain clarity where there was confusion. We begin responding to life rather than simply reacting to it.
Serenity Surrender is not just a healing modality. It is a way of life.
It is a practice of conscious living that supports emotional healing, spiritual growth, and a deeper understanding of ourselves. It helps us reconnect with the wisdom that already exists within us and develop a stronger connection between mind, body, and soul.
When we stop fighting our experience and start listening to it, life becomes less of a struggle and more of a journey of understanding, growth, and transformation.
The goal is not perfection. The goal is greater awareness, inner peace, and a deeper connection with who you truly are.
If you feel called to explore your inner world, understand recurring life patterns, or experience deeper spiritual and emotional healing, Serenity Surrender offers a safe, grounded space for transformation and self-discovery.
In today’s fast-paced world, many of us are carrying more stress than we realise.
It builds quietly through work pressure, relationships, financial strain, family responsibilities, and the constant demands of daily life. Over time, this can become a background state of tension that starts to feel normal.
You may not always notice it mentally, but your body does.
Stress doesn’t just stay in the mind. It shows up in the body in very real ways.
You may experience anxiety, disrupted sleep, fatigue, digestive issues, headaches, muscle tension, or a constant sense of being “on edge.”
Many people also live with conditions such as IBS, acid reflux (GERD), hormonal imbalance, or lowered immunity alongside long-term stress.
When this happens, the body is no longer just responding to life, it is holding what has not yet been fully processed.
As life continues to move quickly, we often adapt by holding more in.
We push through. We override signals from the body. We keep going even when we are tired or overwhelmed.
Over time, this creates a build-up of physical and emotional tension in the system.
And eventually, the body begins to ask for attention through symptoms, discomfort, or burnout.
When you begin to slow your breathing and bring awareness back into the body, the nervous system starts to regulate. The body moves out of survival mode. Tension begins to soften.
This is not about forcing change, it is about allowing release.
A return to balance happens when the body feels safe enough to let go.
There are two ways to work with this process, depending on what you need right now.
A personalised session designed for deeper individual support.
This is for you if you feel overwhelmed, stuck in emotional patterns, or want a focused space that is fully tailored to what your body and nervous system are holding right now.
In a 1–2–1 session, we work directly with your current emotional and physical state, allowing for a deeper and more targeted release process.
→ Best for: anxiety, emotional overwhelm, chronic stress patterns, or when you want personal guidance.

If you’re unsure, start with what feels most accessible.
Both paths support the same intention:
to help your system release what it has been carrying and return to a state of ease.

This work is not about fixing yourself.
It is about creating the space for your body and mind to let go of what they have been holding and allowing your system to naturally return to balance, clarity, and calm.
